Data Analyst – Contract (Outside IR35)
Coventry (Hybrid – occasional London travel)
Up to £280 per day – Outside IR35
6-month initial contract

A well-known and fast-growing organisation is looking for a Data Analyst to support their data integrity and reporting efforts during a period of continued business expansion and system integration.

This role will suit someone confident working across multiple systems (ERP, CRM, FP&A tools), investigating data issues, and ensuring the business has clean, reliable, and report-ready data.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, inquisitive, and process-driven — someone who thrives in environments where data challenges are real, not theoretical.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily and weekly data checks across ERP, CRM, and finance/reporting tools
Investigate and resolve data issues, mismatches, and inconsistencies between systems
Liaise with internal teams (Finance, Operations, IT) to understand root causes and fix problems
Ensure reporting data is accurate, consistent, and ready for use by the FP&A team
Support the integration of new data sources following acquisitions
Maintain documentation around checks, fixes, and processes
Recommend improvements to data processes and reporting efficiency

The Ideal Candidate:
Strong SQL skills – able to query and troubleshoot across multiple datasets
Confident working with ERP and CRM systems (e.g. Unit4, Salesforce, or similar)
Comfortable supporting reporting and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.)
Proven background in data quality, reporting, or BI environments
Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independently
Clear communicator who can collaborate with technical and non-technical teams
