About the Role

This role offers you a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in data analytics, visualisation, and customer experience optimisation. As part of the high-performing central Digital Analytics team, you will be at the forefront of data collection, analysis, and reporting for marketing teams across all of Ascential’s brands. The DA team focuses on transforming insights into actionable marketing strategies that drive performance, personalise experiences, and support business growth. You will utilise a range of technologies including GA4, Looker, Big Query, SalesForce and Marketo to deliver high-quality data solutions and impactful insights that inform the broader marketing strategy of our partner brands. A typical day

  • Design and implement reports and dashboards using SQL for data querying and Looker and LookML for advanced visualisation.
  • Analyse website user behaviour, conversion funnels, and customer journeys across marketing campaigns and channels.
  • Help identify problems/opportunities and deliver actionable insights using business intelligence tools.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of forecasting models to predict future demand, optimise strategies, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear, concise and impactful way.
  • Leverage data to analyse customer acquisition and retention patterns.
  • Learn the basics of Python to support exploratory data analysis.
  • Learn the basics of SQL by using BigQuery for Big Data analysis.
  • Engage with business partners to identify measurement requirements and drive data maturity.
  • Support the Digital Analytics roadmap by helping to achieve key implementation and process definition milestones (including machine-learning and predictive modelling), and reporting progress back to the wider business.

You must have

  • GCSE English & Maths 4-9 (C-A*) or equivalent

Skills Needed

  • A basic understanding or interest in marketing, digital analytics, data analysis and big data concepts.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to present clearly and concisely.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Openness and the ability to work within a team and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in turning data into actionable insights.
  • A genuine passion and interest in growth and development (personally and professionally).
