My large client in the utilities sector is currently looking for an experienced Data Architect to join them on a 6 month contract basis to assist with the management of data in their Databricks analytics platform, maintaining data dictionaries and medallion architecture and overseeing their star-schema based reporting warehouse.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and guiding developers in the use of reporting schemas
• Overseeing developers in the use of reporting schemas
• Performing data migration including preparation, mapping and ETL/ELT
• Executing defined data strategies and supporting colleagues responsible for data governance and stewardship

Skills that would make you successful in this role:

• Vast experience as a Data Architect
• Azure Data Bricks experience
• Experience of data models within Dataverse/Power Platform
• Experience of using tooling including Erwin and Sparx EA
• Prior experience with reverse engineering and logical models
