Data Engineer

Data Engineer – Liverpool/ Hybrid - £40,000 to £50,000 + Bonus

We have partnered with an organisation who pride themselves on being the best in what they do, they are a business who specialise on the transportation industry. The company are recruiting for a Data Engineer to make a difference in the company and use the business data to create dashboards and reports in PowerBI and Qlik Sense and conduct data transformations.

The position is a great opportunity for someone to take that step into a managerial role and have the opportunity to work with the Solutions Architect and make a true impact into the company.

The Data Engineer position will work on a hybrid working structure of 3 days from home and 2 onsite per week.

Essential experience for the Data Engineer:

-            3+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer or similar position.

-            Strong understanding of PowerBI

-            Extensive knowledge of Qlik Sense.

-            Experience with Azure data (Data Lake and Data Warehouse)

-            Strong people skills, ability to influence people and attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Data Engineer:

-            Visualise data through dashboards and reports using PowerBI.

-            Conduct quality coding to technical business criteria.

-            Design, develop and test scripts to import data from test dashboards and business systems to meeting client requirements.

-            Provide support to end-users as required for existing technical content and developed solutions.
