About you:?
You are a seasoned Data Engineer proficient in PySpark and SQL, with extensive experience in creating end-to-end analytical data products. You ideally excel in extracting, transforming, and presenting data for reports and dashboards. This role would suit someone with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach, thriving in agile teams with a DevOps mindset.

Day-to-day, you will:?
• Develop Python (especially PySpark) and SQL scripts for data access and transformation.
• Utilize Azure Databricks and Fivetran to construct robust data products.
• Design optimized data models prioritizing performance, usability, and security.
• Influence DevOps practices and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business requirements.

Your skills and experiences might also include:??
• Proficient in Python, particularly PySpark, and SQL for databases.
• Experienced with lakehouses, preferably on Databricks, and cloud platforms, with a preference for Azure.
• Knowledgeable in DevOps practices, encompassing version control, testing, and CI/CD, and adept in agile software development.
• Skilled in data modeling and may have familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI, and infrastructure as code concepts.
