We are seeking a Data & Fibre Installation Engineer to join an expanding Telecoms business in South Wales (Covering Cardiff & Bristol). This role is highly customer focused, installing and maintaining Cat-6 & fibre optic networks across the South Wales/West regions.

Description

The Data & Fibre Installation Engineer will:

  • Install, maintain, and repair fibre optic systems and data networks.
  • Install Cat-6 & Fibre optic networks.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests and troubleshooting to address issues.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.
  • Document installations and configurations.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to secure necessary equipment and resources.

Profile

The successful Data & Fibre Installation Engineer will have:

  • Proven track record in fibre optic network installation and maintenance.
  • Customer services focused.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective team collaboration.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and development in the field.
  • UK Driving licence (Van provided)
