I'm partnered with a strong name in the insurance space looking to add a Data Governance Manager to their team.

My client is a leading global insurance and reinsurance group, renowned for its expertise in providing innovative and tailored risk solutions. The company operates across various sectors, offering a comprehensive range of services that include underwriting, claims management, and brokerage. With a commitment to excellence and a customer-centric approach, this insurer leverages advanced technology and deep industry knowledge to deliver exceptional value to clients worldwide.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Define data governance roles and responsibilities throughout the business.
  • Advocate for data governance initiatives across departments and levels.
  • Establish framework and operating models aligned with industry standards like DAMA-DMBOK.
  • Implement MDM tool to manage and control master data
  • Monitor and report on data-related matters impacting compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams towards achieving data governance objectives.
  • Provide guidance and direction in implementing data governance policies and practices.
  • Ability to listen actively to understand the needs and concerns of various stakeholders.
  • Capacity to develop a long-term vision for data governance aligned with organisational goals and objectives
  • Prior Experience with Purview is essential
