Data Insight Analyst - Hedge Fund - London

We’re currently working with a boutique hedge fund, who are looking to hire an experienced Data Insight Analyst within their front office equities team.

You will work alongside PMs and Quants to provide data insights that drive investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with PMs and Quants to understand their data needs and provide tailored analytical support.
• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear and actionable insights.
• Use statistical methods and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and enhance investment strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in a data analysis or data science role, in either an asset manager or hedge fund (non-negotiable)
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical modelling.
