Data Platform Operations Specialist | Azure | ADLS | ADF | SQL | Python | Financial Services | Agile | 2/3 days per week in London | £75,000 - £90,000 plus bonus/benefits

This rapidly growing and prestigious wealth management company are at the forefront of bleeding edge technology with delta lakehouse architecture and the latest Azure tools.

The role: Your primary focus will be monitoring and maintaining availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of the Data Platform to meet the needs of internal and external customers. In addition to this, you will be working on Data Quality and Data Assurance, including operational support of reconciliation platforms and processes.

The experience my client are looking for:

  • Deep and wide background in data technologies spanning solutions built on both traditional RDBMS and non-traditional NoSQL platforms
  • Hands on experience with supporting SQL or ETL tools used for data transformation, modelling, and analysis
  • Proven experience supporting scalable and highly performant data platforms in a an Azure environment
  • Practical experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Experience with monitoring and logging processes and tools, including proven capability to resolve availability and performance issues
  • Azure & SQL (Essential)
  • Python and PowerBI (Desirable)

Working arrangements: This is a hybrid role with 2/3 days in their central London office.
