Data Scientist x5

My client are a large prestigious central government organisation, they are seeking x5 Data Scientists on a contract basis initially for 6 months with possible extension and permanent job opportunities (37 hours per week - 5 days). The role is paying £20.47 per hour for the duration of the contract, INSIDE IR35.

This role will be hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week required within closest office based in Newport, Hampshire, Darlington, Manchester & Edinburgh.

Qualifications

• Relevant Masters degree in Data Science/Data Engineering/Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.

Essential Experience

• Knowledge of programming languages Python, Pyspark (Desirable) and R/RStudio.
• Excellent communicational skills both written and verbally.
• Ability to collaborate across the business.
• Agile/Waterfall practices experience.
• Knowledge of Big Data.
• Apache Spark (Desirable)
• Unit Testing experience/knowledge.
• Ability to produce code.
• Knowledge of reproducible pipelines.
