Job Title: Data Scientist (Churn Model Development)
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 3 Months (Inside IR35)
Day Rate: £450-£500/day

We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to help develop new churn models for a key project in London. This is a 3-month contract with a day rate of £450-£500 (inside IR35) and a chance to work on advanced predictive analytics in a supportive team environment.

About the Role:

Your main task will be to develop a "Churn Mount Model" to improve customer retention analysis. With a strong focus on propensity and churn models, your work will directly influence key business decisions. You will also support the development of other future models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver the "Churn Mount Model" as the first priority.

  • Collect and refine requirements for future models and deliverables.

  • Work with stakeholders to design and deliver advanced predictive models.

  • Help recruit and onboard the right resources to support model development.

  • Collaborate with leadership to monitor budget approval and project progress.

  • Organise and lead meetings to track progress and align on next steps.

About You:
  • Experience building and deploying churn and propensity models.

  • Strong skills in Python, R, or similar data science tools.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics.

  • Ability to turn business needs into technical solutions.

  • Clear communication skills to work with a range of stakeholders.

  • Experience with uplift models or working in retail/consumer industries is a bonus.
