Data Technician - Level 3

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyse data to support their marketing efforts in attracting potential tenants. Additionally, the role involves assisting in their office move and analysing space utilisation to ensure optimal space management.

The role:

Possible start date: 01.08.2024

Monday to Friday; 8:30am to 5pm

Total working hours: 40

What you will do in your working day:

Marketing Data Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential tenants and target markets.
  • Analyse tenant demographics, preferences, and behaviours to inform marketing strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential leads and track engagement metrics.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create data-driven marketing campaigns and strategies.

Space Utilisation Analysis:

  • Analyse current office space utilization and occupancy rates.
  • Develop models to forecast future space requirements based on company growth and departmental needs.
  • Identify opportunities for space optimization and cost savings.

Move Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the Facilities and HR teams to understand the requirements for the new office space.
  • Assist in planning the office move by providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Track and report on the progress of the move project, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to.

Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather and clean data from various sources, including market research reports, employee surveys, floor plans, and occupancy sensors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of space usage, tenant engagement, and inventory.

Reporting and Presentation:

  • Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Present analysis and insights to senior management to support decision-making processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in tenant acquisition and office space management.
  • Propose and implement improvements to data collection, analysis processes, and marketing strategies.

The training you will receive:

  • Level 3 Data Technician qualification.
  • All training is undertaken online, through a combination of self-paced eLearning and live online classes.
  • Functional skills in English and Mathematics, if required.

Prospects:

  • Within this role, there is the opportunity to secure a full-time role on successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Qualifications required:

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential

GCSE or equivalent Mathematics (Grade A* - C 9/4) - Essential

Skills required:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with project management and office moves is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
