Job Title - Database Development Engineer - WIFI metric

Contract - 8 months

Location - Brentwood, UK (Hybrid Working)

What you'll do:

  • Develop SQL database for Wi-Fi test results.
  • Responsible for Residential Wi-Fi Testing
  • Support the Design and Development teams with product testing and evaluation.
  • Develop Database dashboard to present results.


What you'll bring:

  • Engineering mindset and eagerness to learn new skills
  • Experience of designing and developing SQL database and JSON.
  • Experience of designing Database dashboard development
  • Some knowledge of IP networking.
  • Some knowledge of Wi-Fi. 802.11 (MAC, channels, rates, MIMO, WPS)
  • Use of CLI tools on Linux (ping / iperf ), editing simple scripts for automation.
  • Experience in using test and validation methodology and scripts to test hardware and/or systems/platforms
  • An understanding of how to sort and present test data to illustrate outcome of testing.
  • UK drivers license and own car to commute to test house’s.
