A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work for a reputable manufacturing business in Sheffield.

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will report into the Production Manager and will be responsible for all machine and site maintenance.

Location- Sheffield


Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday -7.20am till 3.40pm with an early finish of 12.50pm on a Friday


Salary: £37,000

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities include:

• To carry out preventative maintenance on equipment as part of the PPM scheme on CNC machinery
• To implement new PPM’s and work to a continuous improvement approach
• To produce a daily report of work done, spares used, follow up as required
• Electrical installations as and when required
• React quickly to breakdowns and prioritise workload – mainly on CNC machinery

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering
• Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance
• Previously worked in a manufacturing environment – heavy background
• Have experience of fault finding on PLC’s such as Siemans and Fanuc
• Must have experience of working on CNC machinery previously
