Dealership Accountant

Reed Finance are currently partnered with a motor trade group who operate nationwide seeking a Regional Accountant on a permanent basis. The role includes 4 days onsite in Reading followed by 2 days per week travel to Wokingham & Basingstoke to business partner with the wider finance team.

Reporting into the Regional Financial Controller, you will be working on the below duties within a supportive and friendly environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Producing monthly management accounts
• Reconciling balance sheets
• Weekly budget & forecast
• Cash flow forecasting
• Coaching/mentoring the local finance team

You must have:

• Previous motor trade experience
• Use of Kerridge/Keyloop/CDK

This role will be best suited to a qualified or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE candidate with strong accounting knowledge and understanding of group accounting processes. You will have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently, able to use your initiative and work unsupervised. You will be well organised with good problem-solving skills and be assertive enough to negotiate and challenge where appropriate.
