My client is a Top Tier Defendant Law firm with a fantastic reputation within the Healthcare market. Due to their continued success, they are currently looking to expand their Healthcare Litigation team in Cardiff.
They are looking to hire someone from 2 years PQE – 10 years+ PQE, with several roles available (from Solicitor level up to Principle Associate). You must have experience within Clinical Negligence claims (ideally defendant, although they will also consider claimant solicitors looking to transition to defendant clinical negligence)
Main duties and responsibilities
Specialise in acting on behalf of NHS Litigation Authority and NHS Trusts, protecting their interests • Manage a case load of litigated and pre-litigated clinical negligence cases • Conduct relevant investigations in order to repudiate and/or conclude the claim • Liaise with various parties such as claimants and their solicitors, clients, counsel, experts etc
About You
Experience handling high value and complex litigated and pre lit clinical negligence claims, preferably involving experience of working for the NHS and/or private healthcare sector
Demonstrable experience in the healthcare sector
Excellent technical ability and knowledge of CPR
Strong communication skills
Time management and organisational skills
Ability to rigorously investigate and analyse evidence
