Delivery Driver

Our client is looking for a delivery driver You must have a Valid UK driving license.
You must have valid ID documentation, Passport + Driving License. You must be able to pass a basic DBS check. Previous DBS checks are not valid.

We will also require 5 FULL years referencing - Any gaps of more than 28 days must be accounted for. If the above ID’s listed cannot be provided, we can accept the following:

Birth certificate, Proof of national insurance, and proof of address - Names on supporting documentation must match and be an official document/letter.

Daily Duties:

You'll start your day for an hour or so collecting the sorted the mail for your route, before taking out your van to complete your round. You'll be given a hand-held computer device to capture customer signatures for deliveries and the round will take around four/five hours to complete. The hand-held computer will also act as your routing system putting your round in the most economical route, telling you which house to go to next.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be an ambassador of the Brand; positively representing, maintaining a clean vehicle and being a courteous driver,

• Safe loading and unloading of parcels on to a van

• Delivery of products, goods, and parcels safely and efficiently to designated locations within set timeframes

• Ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials with authorisation if necessary and deliver high standards of customer care

• Properly use and maintain delivery equipment, including handheld scanner, to deliver up to 100 parcels per day

Shifts & Salary:

Shifts between: 08:00am - 8:00pm (Working 5 days over 7) Monday to Friday requirement with occasional weekends - You must be flexible.
Assignment length: Ongoing - Temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate

Pay: £12.90 per hour
