Delivery Manager - Data Insights, 12 month Fixed Term Contract

• Salary: £85,000 plus 20% pension
• Hybrid working (2 days per week in the office, 3 days working from home)

Delighted to exclusively represent my banking client who are seeking a Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of their Data Strategy. This role involves driving Data Insight and Technology change initiatives, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with strategic goals. The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing both business and IT change, delivering data solutions, and fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

The projects you will be involved with will be Greenfield with opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the way they use their data.

• Lead change initiatives, ensuring delivery is of high quality and aligned to strategic goals.
• Own the delivery roadmap across Data Insights / Technology.
• Prioritise work for Data Insights / Technology, managing priorities and expectations across the organisation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive data engineering related changes.
• Plan sprints with development and test leads to maximize value.
• Manage high-level estimation process for predictable delivery.
• Support project reporting and governance processes.
• Deliver change in line with governance expectations, including project documentation and processes.
• Act as a bridge between the business and IT, ensuring effective communication.
• Create and maintain a culture of teamwork and collaboration towards common goals.

• Experience in delivering both business and IT change, particularly data solutions.
• A pragmatic individual with a balance of delivery focus and strategic thinking.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity in a complex environment.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and their application.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate at all levels.
• Change agent with a track record of improving ways of working.

• Experience in Financial Services or a strong interest in the sector.
• Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, Prince2).

• Strong people skills and emotional intelligence.
• Adaptability to new prioritisation and work items.
• Critical and analytical thinking.
• Good attention to detail.
