GREAT new opportunity with our client based in Norwich who are looking to recruit a Customer Demand Planner. 

You will be responsible for managing customer demand, stocks and orders for any of the company’s products, in the most cost-effective way, while maintaining minimum stock levels. 

Duties include:

  • Processing and completing sales orders for customers accurately
  • Leading stock on a daily basis, including physical spot checks on goods
  • Maintain and develop relationships with customers, through regular meetings and communications, and account managers to ensure awareness of customer requirements and resolve any queries they may have.
  • To generate, edit and process and invoice sales orders, matching against supplier documentation
  • Be responsible for and the maintenance of stock levels, ensuring it is reflected in the company inventory
  • To assist with the resolution of any stock, or order discrepancies
  • Provide cover and administrative support for other member in the supply team

Person specification

  • Must have minimum GCSE level qualifications in Maths and English
  • Must have a strong understanding of Outlook, Work, Powerpoint and Excel
  • Experience of order processing and general administration
  • Strong negotiation and management skills are essential
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to support and solve issues with other team members as well as resolve issues on your own at times.

Benefits

Salary for this role is £25- £30,000 depending on experience. 

Bonus available annually to £5k

30days holiday including bank holiday 

Hours: 0800 -1630 (there may be some flexibility with this).   There will also be a requirement for on-call cover at weekends.

Hybrid working:  3 days office and 2 days working from home.
