Day to Day of the role:- Develop procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and products.
- Monitor inventory levels, manage reorder points, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, procurement transactions, and supplier performance.
- Analyse sales data, market trends, and historical performance to forecast future product demand.
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts, collaborating with sales and finance teams to align with business objectives.
- Ensure integration between supply and demand planning processes for balanced inventory levels and optimal service.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss planning insights and strategies.
- Implement best practices in procurement and demand planning processes.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (desired not essential)
- Experience in supply planning, demand planning, or a related role.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Knowledge of the packaging industry is advantageous.
