Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage demand forecasts for the product line
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and finance teams to gather and analyse data
  • Streamline supply chain processes to optimise operational efficiencies
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products
  • Maintain robust inventory levels to meet demand without excess
  • Present demand forecasts regularly to stakeholders and senior management
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Profile

A successful Demand Planner should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage large data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in demand planning software and other related IT systems
  • A deep understanding of supply chain management in the industrial manufacturing sector
  • An ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
