Are you a Demand Planning Manager/Supply Chain Management professional seeking your next contract assignment.
Venture Recruitment Partners are assisting a global business, based in Andover, in their search for a Demand Planner on a 4-6 month contract.
Salary £50-65,000 p/a + expenses
Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week initially in the office
Key Responsibilities of the Demand Planning Manager
- Develop a monthly volume forecast for 2 fiscal years using inputs from commercial teams, distributor purchase forecasts, current orderbook, and statistical calculations.
- Align forecast volumes in the P&L with the latest approved budget and collaborate with commercial teams to close gaps, resulting in an agreed, aligned forecast.
- Create statistical forecasts in Excel using rolling 12 month actuals.
- Ensure forecasts reflect NPD, new product listings, and delists.
- Represent demand planning in Supply Review meetings with the Supply Centre.
Skills, Knowledge And Expertise of the Demand Planning Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience (3+ years) in demand planning, supply chain management, or related roles within a global or complex organisation
- Expertise in demand forecasting techniques, statistical analysis, and demand planning software (e.g., APO DP, SAP IBP)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make actionable recommendations.
