Job Description:
As a Demolition Burner, you will be responsible for cutting and dismantling metal structures using oxy-fuel cutting equipment. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient execution of demolition tasks, adhering to our high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate oxy-fuel cutting equipment to cut and dismantle metal structures on demolition sites.
- Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, wearing appropriate PPE and ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the site supervisor and team members to execute demolition plans effectively.
- Monitor the worksite for potential hazards and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Demolition Burner, with expertise in oxy-fuel cutting.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to demolition and metal cutting.
- Ability to read and interpret site plans and specifications.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.
- Relevant certification or training in oxy-fuel cutting is preferred.
