Depot General Manager- Hayes 
We are looking for a General Manager who can lead and inspire one of our largest teams to enhance delivery and customer service across all product lines within our Hygiene Division at our Hayes Operations Centre.
If you have the ability to control all operations and appropriate commercial matters without compromising standards in respect of health and safety, people, quality and service this may be the role for you!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Leading, motivating and inspiring the largest Operation Centre team within phs Group as an effective role model.
  • Provide an environment that drives employee engagement in line with Company values
  • Act on management information which can assist in the efficient running of the Operations Centre.
  • Undertake resource planning processes, ensuring the levels are effective, productive and consistently increase utilisation while managing resources effectively to exceed budget without compromising the KPIs on any of the three product lines.
  • Fulfil all aspects of performance management including setting and agreeing standards of performance
  • Ensure that all employees are committed to their KPIs and responsibilities
  • Ensure appropriate training is planned and provided and development opportunities identified and encouraged
  • Ensure all appropriate policies and procedures are strictly adhered to
  • Drive and review performance system and KPIs
  • To be the gatekeeper of health and safety compliance across the operations center
  • To ensure employees are suitably trained, including documentation, in all areas of H & S
  • Be aware and knowledgeable of all legislation relevant to the business and ensure compliance
  • Carry out quality audits to ensure adherence to Company policies.
  • Lead and support the front line team in gaining leads and customer feedback and ensure they play their part in the query resolution loop
  • Ensure consistent quality product and services and be proud of phs
  • Demonstrates respect for the customer and is committed to provide value for money
PERSON SPECIFICATION
  • Hold a Mangers CPC (essential)
  • Hold a valid driving licence (essential)
  • COTC qualification (desirable)
  • NEBOSH Managing Safety or equivalent (essential)
  • Recognised Management qualification (desirable)
Additional Information A criminal record will not necessarily bar candidates from obtaining employment with phs however due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will need to meet the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
