Deputy Manager

As Deputy Manager, you will be expected to work in close partnership with the Registered Manager, taking on day-to-day duties across all services to ensure that the services delivered across all day to day aspects of operations are of a consistently high standard.

You will be expected to deputise as dictated by the needs of the business and the Registered Manager and in line with the needs and standards of the company.

Duties:

  • To support the Registered Manager with other duties as required.
  • To offer advice, support and guidance to staff.
  • Uphold policies and processes, and challenge breaches and non-compliance.
  • To support the Registered Manager with CQC inspections and other service reviews, taking responsibility in Registered Manager’s absence to make sure that all information is made available in line with all contractual obligations and legislative guidelines.
  • To promote a tidy and safe working environment across both sites.
  • To report all incidents to Registered Manager in a timely manner and agree actions to deal with appropriately to conclusion.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a health and social care setting
  • At least 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health and social care setting
  • Experience of working in/managing a domiciliary service
  • NVQ Level 4 in Leadership & Management or the equivalent
  • Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
