Bright Selection are delighted to be supporting a leading provider of elderly care services in the recruitment of a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager for one of their large nursing homes in the Spalding area.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well performing care provider, in a state of the art home delivering nursing, residential and specialise dementia care. You will form part of the SMT and will be instrumental in the day to day running of the home, working alongside the Registered Manager and Residential Care Manager.

Reporting into and deputising for the Registered Home Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the clinical team ensuring all nursing needs are met
  • Oversee safe medication management
  • Participate in staff recruitment
  • Staff performance management
  • Manage the rota's
  • Conduct and oversee effective handovers

We require someone who is / has:

  • RGN qualified with current pin
  • Leadership and management experience
  • Experience within the elderly care sector
  • Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations
  • Flexible approach to working hours to enable assessment of staff and resident needs across all shifts

Contract, Remuneration and benefits:

  • £43,000pa neg DOSE
  • 100% supernumerary
  • Core working hours Monday - Friday with some weekend availability required
