Position: Deputy Manager

Location: Birkenhead

Salary Range: £30,000 - 35,000

Contracted Hours: 37.5hrs / 9am-5pm /Monday - Friday

Our client is seeking a Deputy Manager for their 4 bedded residential children's home located in Birkenhead, with an Ofsted rating of GOOD. You will be supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) providing a trauma informed support plan in place for each young person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take lead of the day-to-day runnings of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager
  • Support the manager to ensure that all compliance, policies and procedures are in line with Ofsted regulations
  • Ensure that children's care plans are regularly being updated in line with any potential changes and staff are following these carefully when delivering care and support
  • Promote and Safeguard the children and young people being supported within the home

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Experience and ability to confidently lead a team to deliver a therapeutic approach
  • Willing to consider strong Senior seeking a step up in their career
  • Full Clean UK Driving Licence
  • At least two years experience working within a residential children's home
