Fundraising Deputy Manager for Oxfam GB

  • £14- £16 per hour, weekly pay

Do you have experience managing a fundraising, or door to door team?

Oxfam have just relaunched their Face to Face fundraising campaign in the UK and we have huge plans for growth! We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to progress onto the campaign as a deputy manager!

The role:

  • Assist in the management of 10+ fundraisers in acquiring supporters for Oxfam’s face to face engagement programme.
  • Working with the regional manager to help best deliver results and provide excellent cover in times of absence
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies to ensure the highest quality of staff are recruited into the regional F2F team and conduct weekly interviews.
  • Be field-based at least three times per week to ensure a 'hands on’ and a 'lead by example approach’.
  • Assist in delivering Oxfam’s impeccable new starter training programme for new face to face team members.
  • Responsible for monitoring KPIs to ensure quality supporter recruitment.
  • Be open-minded with new Face to face projects as part of a broader engagement role.

About you:

  • Have at least 6-months fundraising experience team leading, successfully managing a small team.
  • Passionate about social justice and love talking and listening to people.
  • Be outgoing, energetic and have a confident demeanour and have good team building/ coaching skills.
  • Hold a passion for activism and Oxfam.
  • Have the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Be able to work independently and used to working towards targets.
