Mechanical Design Engineer - Manufacturing Sector

Southwell, Nottinghamshire -Commutable from Newark, Mansfield, East Nottingham

Excellent Salary plus bonus plus benefits plus early Friday finish plus 25 days leave

Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours/week, flexible start/end times


Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work for a growing manufacturing company offering training, progression and excellent working conditions?

The company pride themselves on low staff turnover due to an excellent working culture and training opportunities. .

The position would focus on designs for equipment and tooling relating to products and processes, using solidworks.

The role

  • Full time permanent role for a growing global manufacturing company offering an early Friday finish.
  • Design and develop equipment and tooling for new products and manufacturing processes.
  • Create bills of materials


The Person

  • Academic mechanical engineering background
  • Working experience as a design engineer using solidworks
  • Experience of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis
