Company: A well-established large format signage company.

Role: Our client is currently looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their well-established team in Nottingham.

• Advanced Technical Drawing: Create precise and specialised technical drawings, including signage structures, electrical components, and integration with architectural elements.

• Material Expertise: Utilise your in-depth knowledge of sign materials and fabrication techniques to recommend and select specialised materials that meet the unique requirements of each project.

• Quality Assurance: Implement a rigorous quality control process to ensure that complex and multi-faceted sign projects meet the highest industry standards.

• Documentation and Records: Maintain meticulous records and documentation of sign specifications, revisions, and any complex design and engineering changes throughout the project lifecycle.

• Cutting-Edge Software Proficiency: Leverage your expertise in advanced computer-aided design (CAD) software, custom signage software, and other specialised tools relevant to the sign industry.

• Problem-Solving Prowess: Address intricate design and technical challenges that may arise in sign production, utilising your deep knowledge and creativity to find specialised solutions.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Senior Sign Engineering Designer within the signage industry, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex projects.

• Proficiency in specialised CAD software Adobe and AutoCAD.

• Advanced knowledge of sign design principles, specialised materials, and fabrication techniques, including neon, LED, and other intricate signage components.

• Use of CorelDraw and Adobe Suite including illustrator
