Design Engineer

We're looking for an experienced Design Engineer to join our client on their current growth with exciting Data Centre projects across the UK & Europe, this role is specifically supporting Data Centre work based in Finland.

This role is paying between €50k to €70k annually. Previous experience with working in Design teams, preparing submittals, seeking approvals, managing RFI's, submittal registers, attending design meetings, preparing subcontractor packages and more.

This is working on rotation, the rotational pattern: Week 1: Early morning flight to arrive on site no later than noon on Monday. Monday to Saturday inclusive (normal working schedule). Week 2: Monday to Saturday (normal working schedule). Week 3: Monday to Wednesday (normal working schedule). Travel home either Wednesday after their shift or first thing Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.

You must be an individual who comes from a previous background on large-scale construction projects, ideally within Data Centres,

• Must have previous Design experience on large-scale construction projects.
• Must have an EU passport due to working in Finland.
• Ideally looking for someone with experience within Data Centres as the client is a specialist in this industry. Would consider candidates without this experience depending on the rest of your experience.
• A positive and can-do attitude to be able to make a difference within the team.
• An outside of the box method of thinking to ensure projects are adhered to within timescales.
