Elevation Recruitment Groups Design & Projects team are currently working with a specialist manufacturing engineering company who are recruiting a Design Engineer to strengthen their technical division. 

Working for as part of a leading group of companies this is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to design specific solutions for customers in a small and inclusive team.

Duties of the Design Engineer will include:

• Ensure that the manufacturing drawings implement only the changes specified in the design instructions
• Support the Mechanical Design and Engineering Manager in investigating errors to identify and eradicate the root cause
• The design and development of engineered products
• Produce detailed drawings and 3D CAD models
• Completing bills of material

We are keen to speak with Design Engineer will need:

• Apprentice trained in Design engineering or similar
• Experience of mechanical design
• Excellent communication skills
• 3D CAD, Solidworks, Inventor or Solid Edge experience
