My client is an international design and manufacturing organisation, with a fantastic reputation in a multitude of different industries. Their revenue has continued to rise year on year over the last decade.

They are looking to add an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer their R&D team.

Experience & Qualifications:

• HND in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a mechanical engineering and design role
• Good understanding of engineering & design governance with the ability to follow and apply governance processes and procedures to a design in accordance with a Design Lifecycle process, under the direction of the Lead Mechanical Design Engineer
• Ability to create Product and Technical Specification documents and drawings
• CAD / SolidWorks, or similar, design software experience, including Finite Element Analysis is desirable
• Experience of product & system testing and evaluation
• Experience of systems simulation and modelling is desirable
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to create and implement ideas for continuous improvement within the engineering and design team
