Secondary DT Teacher

  • Job Title: Design Technology Teacher 
  • Location: Plymouth
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
  • Salary: £145 per day
  • Start Date: September 2024

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to join our dedicated and successful DT department at a leading school in Plymouth. The comprehensive school has brilliant facilities including a fitness suite and its own library complex, and prides itself on a strong record of academic success and its commitment to helping its students succeed. The school is also easily accessible by public transportation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Design Technology lessons to students of all abilities, from KS3 to KS5.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching DT to students of all abilities or a degree in a related subject
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to motivate and engage students

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of the department, and to work with a supportive and collaborative team of colleagues.
