Remuneration: £45,000 - £55,000 + discretionary bonus

Schedule: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

The role of the Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:

• Designer position dealing with various roofing and cladding systems including: hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
• Reviewing scopes of work and liaise with clients to gain an understanding of the projects
• Utilising AutoCAD and Revit to produce designs
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
• Estimating for projects ranging in value from £200k to £3m

• Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
• Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
• Attend weekly design meetings

The ideal applicant will be Designer - Roofing & Cladding Systems with:

• Must have design experience within the UK construction market sector
• Ideally will have experience dealing with hot melt roofing, single-ply membranes, flat roofing, cladding, and rain screens
• Experienced user of AutoCAD / Revit
• Must have a good understanding of technical drawings
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of organisation and attention to detail
• Enthusiastic, team play, who works well individually also
