Job Title: Deskside Support Engineer - 2nd Line Support

Inside IR35 Contract £140 - £150 per day

Start date and duration: 25.06.24- 25.07.24 - (1 Month)

Must be DBS Cleared

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Deskside Support Engineer to enhance our IT support services in Bromley.

Job Description:

As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to our end-users. Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, with a focus on Windows 7, Windows Exchange, and Office 365. You will work closely with other IT team members to ensure the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 7, Windows Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software.
  • Assist with user account management and access provisioning.
  • Perform regular system updates and maintenance tasks.
  • Document and track all support requests using our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement solutions and improvements.
  • Offer training and guidance to end-users to enhance their technical proficiency.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Deskside Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Windows 7, Windows Exchange, and Office 365.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
