Desktop Support Engineer required for a large corporate organisation based in the City of London.
Please note: this is a fully on site role and engagement is via PAYE (Gross pay £172.40 per day)
As a member of the Service Management Team you will be responsible for the provision of 1st & 2nd line IT Support and incident resolution to laptops and related components.
General responsibilities: -
- Respond to requests via phone, email and face to face
- Resolution of 1st or 2nd line incidents and requests related to laptop tech
- Triage of incidents and allocation to relevant 3rd line support teams
- Working within controlled performance targets
- Utilising Incident and Configuration Management tools with processes to assist in the control of asset tracking
Skills and technologies required: -
- Windows 10
- Microsoft Surface devices
- Office 365 BYOD - iOS / Android / Intune
- Supporting Remote Working technologies including RSA token configuration, MFA, Windows Virtual Desktop
- AD Admin
- PC networking skills
- SCCM or Intune
- Hardware Support
- Ability to communicate with VIPs
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
