Desktop VDI and Zscaler Security Specialist - Cheshire

Gibbs Hybrid is looking for an accomplished Desktop VDI and Zscaler Security Specialist to support a finance client onsite as part of a workplace collaboration project. You will be required onsite 2/3 days a week, some remote working available. This role is inside IR35: PAYE/Umbrella.

Essential:
- Define and develop comprehensive network strategies, ensuring robust security measures are integrated. Provide expert input from a security focus, risk management, and control perspective to influence strategic decisions.
- Exhibit a strong cybersecurity and domain lead mindset, understanding the intricacies of technology to influence and drive security agendas.
- Identify and mitigate security risks, implementing effective control measures to protect network and cloud environments.
- Act as a liaison between the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Foundation Service (GTIS), ensuring security is integrated effectively through strong partnerships and collaboration.
• Extensive experience in network strategy development with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide strategic decisions.
• Robust understanding of risk management and security controls within network and cloud domains.
• Demonstrates a proactive and influential mindset.
• Strong and resilient, capable of making informed decisions and standing by them.
• Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
