Python Analytics Configuration Developer

£600-£700 per day inside IR35

Are you a Developer with specific experience in Python and Advanced Analytics?

My major client is looking for someone to join on a 6 month contract basis.


Role

  • To support, manage and maintain the Advanced Analytics platform.
  • To develop, configure, implement, deploy and maintain applications, such as Streamlit which interface with Databricks.
  • To manage relationships and engagements with Internal Customers and 3rd Party organisations.
  • To advise stakeholders on new or amended functionality being delivered by Advanced Analytics as part of their release process

Skills / Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years' technical or functional experience with Python and advanced analytics
  • Fluent communicator, both written and orally, with experience of dealing across same hierarchical tier
  • Able to articulate points of view, using examples as appropriate
  • Able to use multiple problem solving methodologies
  • Adept at identifying appropriate workarounds
  • Experience in resolving complex problems
  • Accountable for own work and that of one or more teams
  • Accountability occasionally traverses organisational boundaries


Key Accountabilities

  • To engage with stakeholders to scope, plan, estimate, develop and implement solutions, enhancements and upgrades within, and supported by, the Advanced Analytics platform, delivering required business outcomes with minimal rework
  • To support, configure, maintain and upgrade the Advanced Analytics platform in accordance with the documented Advanced Analytics development and support processes
  • To deliver day-to-day management of the Advanced Analytics platform in line with Incident, Problem, Change, Release and Transition process requirements, and deliver to associated KPIs
  • To ensure that any 3rd Party engagement is managed according to documented process
  • To deliver support, guidance and development to legacy systems, including RACF and INFOMAN
  • To develop, maintain and manage applications within the Advanced Analytics platform
  • To comply with all Demand and Development KPIs and OLAs
