Turn Numbers into Narratives, Routes into Results!

Are you ready to chart a course beyond the ordinary? We're seeking a Data Visualisation Developer with an eye for design and a passion for code to join an innovative analytics team!

About The Role

They are evolving beyond traditional dashboards to create modern, interactive visualisations that help organisations optimise how they move goods and people - reducing carbon footprints and operational costs in the process. While you'll support our existing Tableau ecosystem, you'll also be pivotal in our exciting journey towards JavaScript-based visualisation frameworks.

Think of yourself as a digital cartographer - mapping complex data into clear, actionable insights that make a genuine difference to both business efficiency and environmental impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Crafting User-Centered Visualisations

  • Design intuitive analytics experiences using UX/UI that don't require a PhD to understand
  • Build dashboards that turn logistics and sustainability metrics into "aha!" moments

Rapid Prototyping (With a Dash of Wizardry)

  • Conjure up quick proof-of-concepts using Tableau and modern web frameworks
  • Transform successful prototypes into production-ready solutions (no duct tape allowed!)

Making Logistics Less... Well, Logistically Challenging

  • Work with routes, schedules, and load capacities to help optimise movement from A to B
  • Turn complex datasets into meaningful KPIs that even the CEO will understand

Leading the Great Tableau Migration

  • Maintain existing Tableau dashboards while plotting their evolution
  • Recreate and extend dashboards in JS-based frameworks (React, Svelte, d3.js)
  • Use Tableau Extensions like secret weapons to enhance current functionality

Quality Assurance (Because Bugs Are Not Features)

  • Contribute to repeatable release processes that won't have us crossing our fingers
  • Implement QA frameworks to keep everything ship-shape and Bristol fashion

Documentation & Collaboration (The Social Bit)

  • Document everything so clearly that future you will send present you a thank-you note
  • Work across teams to ensure your visualisations align with what people actually need

Continuous Improvement (Because Standing Still Is So 2010)

  • Automate tedious tasks so you can focus on the interesting bits
  • Stay at the cutting edge of visualisation techniques (without cutting yourself)

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 1-3 years of experience turning data into visual stories
  • JavaScript wizardry and proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React, Svelte)
  • Tableau experience that goes beyond "I've opened it once"
  • Interest in logistics and sustainability metrics (bonus points if you've optimised your own commute)
  • Communication skills that bridge the gap between tech-speak and human-speak
  • A process-oriented mind that appreciates version control isn't just about remembering which file is which
  • Enthusiasm for learning new things faster than your company laptop can update its software

Perks & Benefits

Hybrid Working

  • Flexibility to work where you're most productive, with a balance of office collaboration and remote focus time

Education and Sustainability Budgets

  • Each teammate receives an annual budget to invest in learning and personal sustainability initiatives
  • Because growing your skills and shrinking your carbon footprint are equally important to us!

Industry-Leading Insurance

  • Robust medical, dental and vision plans with 100% coverage of individual premiums
  • Because good health shouldn't come with financial anxiety

Equity Incentive Plan

  • Every full-time employee receives stock options in the company
  • We're all owners here - your success is directly tied to our collective success

They are a company rooted in the belief that every action matters. Founded by long-time friends and now parents with young children whose futures we deeply care about, we came together around a simple question: how can we as individuals make a difference in reversing climate change?

It turns out countless others were asking this same question - not just at home, but in their workplaces where often the biggest impact is possible. That's where you come in, helping organisations visualise and optimise their environmental impact through powerful data storytelling.
