The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will join their cutting-edge Global Investment Financial Systems team in London. They will play a critical role in building the next-generation strategic book of record platform, working within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.



Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Design and develop complex applications using microservices architecture
  • Translate technical specifications into high-quality, efficient code
  • Implement and integrate new technologies across development, test, and production environments
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions


Required Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5+ years of professional experience, with 2+ years in development
  • Expert-level Python programming
  • Strong AWS cloud computing skills
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Microservices and service-oriented architecture
    • Lambda (Python 3.7+)
    • S3, Step Functions, Kinesis/Kafka
    • CloudWatch, CloudTrail, CloudFormation
    • API Gateway
  • Agile development methodology proficiency
  • Global application development experience
