Development Engineer
A Development Engineer position has become available, within a business that supplies safety-critical components to the evolving Automotive industry. As they work through a period of growth, this award-winning company is looking to expand its various teams across this site. In return, the successful professional will earn a salary of £45,000 - £50,000, clear progression routes to management level, 33 days of annual leave, and bespoke personal training opportunities.
Development Engineer duties include -
- Conduct testing to the agreed validation and development plans.
- Create timing plans to manage the allocation of test rigs and engineering resources.
- Compile validation test reports and present findings of development tests.
- Involved in the design, fabrication, and maintenance of test rigs.
- Instrumentation and data acquisition for product testing.
- Interpret specifications and engineering drawings to devise suitable test procedures.
Development Engineer skills and experience -
- Experience in a similar position (Research & Development / Test Engineer / Mechanical Engineer, etc).
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
- Relevant electrical/electronic, mechanical, or mechatronic education.
