What role will you play?

As a Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in expanding our EV charging infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the development of our current project pipeline, from securing land rights and network connections to obtaining all necessary permits and consents. You'll work in tandem with our operations, commercial, and technical teams to ensure projects meet our stringent investment criteria and are delivered on time and within budget. By identifying new site opportunities and managing stakeholder relationships, your efforts will directly contribute to Fleete's growth and success in the e-mobility landscape.

What you offer

  • A minimum of ten years of experience in property, energy, and infrastructure project development, with a preference for those with expertise in the EV or renewables sector, and knowledge of the UK and European markets (particularly Benelux, Germany, France).
  • A proven track record of navigating local laws, development procedures, and market practices, combined with a strong background in consenting processes and stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, supported by strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, law, geology, environmental science, surveying, or project management.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other European language, alongside a willingness to collaborate with regional teams.
  • A driven, ambitious nature, complemented by a team-oriented mindset and a capacity to balance meticulous attention to detail with a broad, strategic perspective.
