Are you ready to join a passionate team and contribute to the world's best digital platform for Tourism & Culture? Our client launched their MVP in 2022 and have experienced sustained growth since then. With recent successful seed funding, they're now expanding their team to add new features and continually improve their platform.
About the Role:
As our clients Development Team Lead, you'll be the senior point of contact for all things development. You'll lead a cross-functional team in an agile environment, reporting directly to the CTO. Your key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing a team of developers, ensuring high-quality code and platform maintenance.
Contributing to the product roadmap to scale and add value to the business.
Overseeing the CI/CD pipelines and managing platform infrastructure.
Coaching and mentoring team members to foster their growth and development.
Skills and Experience:
Strong background in C# .Net development, preferably including .Net Core and Entity Framework.
Proficiency in SQL, with experience in designing relational databases and query optimization.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Key Technical Skills:
MVC, .Net Core 6+, C#, Umbraco CMS (or similar), Microsoft SQL Server
Azure Cloud platforms, Azure DevOps, Git, GitHub
HTML, JavaScript, JSON, REST, React.js
Software engineering principles, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns
TDD, BDD
Line management, mentoring, and coaching
Desirable Skills:
Experience with non-relational data sources (e.g., MongoDB)
Creativity, enthusiasm, and real-world problem-solving skills
Ability to influence design and architecture decisions
Stakeholder management and presentation skills
Participation in recruitment processes
Key Measures and Targets:
Successful delivery of applications and sprint objectives
Team success and development
Contribution to the tech and product roadmap
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
Python
Exposure to AI/ML projects
