DevOps Engineer | Gaming | Berlin (hybrid) | Relocation available

DevOps Engineer required for an exciting gaming studio in Berlin to help build high-quality products used by millions. As a DevOps engineer, you'll enjoy autonomy in decision-making and ensure smooth system operations. Our team values diverse engineering backgrounds and supports individual learning styles. The DevOps Engineer will have expertise in high traffic APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage, extend and improve our infrastructure together with our infrastructure experts
  • Work mainly with AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Support other backend engineers in working with our infrastructure
  • Extend and maintain our CI/CD pipelines and dev tooling
  • Ensure stability and resilience of our infrastructure services
  • Take part in our team on-call rotation every few weeks (after an extensive onboarding period)

What You Will Need to Succeed in This Role

  • You have several years of experience as a backend engineer with a focus on infrastructure
  • You are a team player and value collaboration
  • You know your way around complex infrastructure and know how to work with distributed systems
  • You are not afraid to touch code. Our services are written mostly in Elixir but we don't expect prior knowledge
