DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a scale up software house building an ML driven investment portfolio monitoring and analytics tool enabling private equity groups to make faster, more informed investment decisions.

You'll join a small team of Engineers building a scalable and resilient platform, dealing with the complexity of an ML based backend ingesting large amounts of data from various sources. The platform is currently running on Kubernetes, in an Azure environment, with a Python backend.

As an early joiner, you'll influence platform strategy, and how the stack evolves over the coming months, working closely with the CTO/Co-Founder, who is an experienced FinTech veteran and remains hands on. He will be a fantastic guide and mentor for any Engineer joining the team.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with:

  • Experience of Kubernetes in production
  • Strong cloud knowledge, preferably Azure but very open to wider public cloud providers
  • Demonstrable coding ability with Python. You aren't expected to be a pure Developer, but must have a good grasp of Python
  • A background in FinTech or Machine Learning would be great, but not expected

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 + Equity (a wider bracket as the team are open to level of experience

Location: Hybrid from Shoreditch, London. Two days per week in office.
