DevOps Engineer

Salary: £150,000-£180,000 (Circa £275,000 total package)

WFH: 4 days a week in Central London

Our client is a global alternative investment fund manager specializing in relative value and directional trading across global macro asset classes. With over 225 employees across major financial hubs, their portfolio structure is designed to deliver uncorrelated returns in all market conditions.

The DevOps Team

The DevOps team focuses on minimizing operational risk and enhancing efficiency through automation. Responsibilities include managing development pipelines, automating CI, deployment, and monitoring, and working closely with the Core Architecture team to scale systems as the business grows.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Core Skills: PowerShell/scripting, coding (C#/Java/Python), Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform), Docker, Kubernetes, ELK/Grafana, CI/CD (TeamCity), Microsoft SQL Server, Windows/Linux administration.
  • Preferred Skills: Atlassian (Bitbucket, JIRA), Artifactory, Octopus Deploy, Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), VMware, SAN experience.
  • Educational Background: A-Levels at grade A*/A/B and a 2.1 degree in Computer Science or related field.
