Digital and Computing Lecturer
  • Hourly Rate: £26 - £29 (including holiday pay)
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Ongoing

An educational institution in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Digital and Computing Lecturer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Levels 2, 3, and T Levels. The specific campus and timetable details will be confirmed at a later stage.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in Digital and Computing subjects across Levels 2, 3, and T Levels.
  • Prepare lesson plans and materials that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and evaluate students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
  • Participate in curriculum development activities to ensure the content is current and relevant.
  • Engage with students to inspire and motivate them in the field of digital and computing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the department’s success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant vocational area.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience in delivering digital and computing courses is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
