Senior Digital Designer - remote

We are looking for a highly skilled Digital Designer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating digital assets for website and marketing campaigns including UI images, webpage designs, Lottie animations, and videos.

This role requires a deep understanding of digital design principles and proficiency in various design and animation tools such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and animation software.

The business is an established SaaS provider with a strong offering across private and public sector from SME to enterprise level.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Design and Development: Create visually appealing digital assets for websites, mobile apps, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Animation and Video Production: Design and produce Lottie animations and videos to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborative Work: Partner with UX/UI designers, developers, and marketing teams for cohesive design strategies.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Develop interactive prototypes, test designs, and iterate based on user feedback and performance metrics.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all digital content aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and enhances the overall aesthetic and user experience

Experience:

  • Experience: Proven experience in digital design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital assets, animations, and video content.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and animation tools such as Lottie. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles is a plus.
  • Creative Skills: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout. Ability to translate wireframes into visually stunning designs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present and defend design decisions.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, taking feedback constructively and contributing to team success
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Digital Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
