Job Description

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

This role will support the strategic goals and day-to-day operations of the Events team. The candidate will be involved in the development, planning, and execution of all Brookfield led events, both in person and virtual. This role is for someone who can take the initiative and work closely with members of the global team on a variety of initiatives and offers an excellent opportunity for career development and growth in a highly dynamic and evolving work environment.

The successful candidate is a digitally savvy and skilled individual that can help Events team efforts to drive efficiencies and improve investor experience with digital solutions. The individual should be highly organized and detail oriented, with strong time management, leadership, and collaboration skills.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Brookfield Digital Events

. Plan, organize, and execute Brookfield's virtual events including AGMs, Fund Launches, webinars/ webcasts and streaming components of hybrid events.
• Manage virtual event platforms, coordinate, and oversee all technical aspects of virtual events troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring seamless execution of live and on-demand content,
• Create and oversee investors' digital events user experience including invitations, landing pages, registrations, confirmations, distribution, and follow-up using digital tools such as Cvent, virtual and video event platforms.
• Production logistics: venue research, filming, virtual platform set up, live broadcasts, replays
• Utilize analytics and feedback to measure the success of digital events and identify areas for improvement, communicate and report findings
• Collaborate with Marketing teams to create compelling event themes/content and digital collateral (emails, websites)
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners, stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in virtual event management
• Ensure compliance with privacy and data protection regulations in the execution of digital events

Brookfield Hosted Events
• Support coordination of Brookfield hosted in-person events
• Assisting with logistics including venue & vendor research, catering, support materials, rooming lists, AV, set up and registration and on-site support as needed
• Create and manage event invitations and websites on Cvent, run registration reports as needed
• Compile pre-and post-event documents (briefing memos, post-mortems)

Candidate Profile:
• 4-6 years' professional experience
• Expert knowledge of Cvent and comparable Event platforms
• Expertise in virtual platforms (Webex, GlobalMeet, Zoom)
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Pardot
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization
• Meticulous attention to detail and a strong passion for planning events
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment, multi-task and prioritize
• Organized, proactive and self-motivated individual
• Ability to keep calm and problem solve quickly under high pressure moments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment
• Team player
• Overtime as needed
• Bachelor's degree
